It has long been accepted in the wider medical community that there is a psychological component to warts, which are caused by a viral infection, specifically by one of the many types of human papillomavirus (HPV).
In one study two groups of patients with warts were studied. Both groups’s warts were treated with an innocuous die that would have no effect, but one group also underwent hypnotherapy.
This second group with the benfit of hypnotherapy saw a 53% greater reduction in the warrts than the control group.
In addition to using hypnotic techniques to deal directly with the warts, I also use hypnosis to work directly with the client’s subconscious to identify and remove underlying stress contributors.
The combined approach usally achieves excellent results.
