In today’s challenging world, relationships are always under pressure, and that pressure can occasionally become difficult to manage.
Also, as we pass through the various stages of life and undergo different experiences, we sometimes struggle to deal with where we find ourselves. That battle can spill over in into our relationships.
When this happens, we often simply find ourselves in a ‘Can’t see the forest for the trees’ situation. This is where working with a counsellor, either as individuals or as a couple, in a safe, confidential, non-judgemental and positive environment can be of real assistance.
With more than two decades of experience as a therapist and counsellor, and quite a few more years of being married, I can offer the support, experience and the environment to achieve positive outcomes.
Problems in relationships occasionally have their roots in the earlier experiences of one or both partners, in which case I sometimes work on an individual basis to deal with those issues. At such times, the combination of couples counselling together with individual therapy delivers outstanding results.
Relationships, even in extreme difficulty, can often recover and thrive with the help of an experienced, non-judgemental counsellor.
